Fast-rising singer Aber Prossy, popularly known as Bestie Gyal, who is currently a Senior Four student at Gulu Army School in Gulu, is gearing up to sit for her final UCE examinations next week.

It is remarkable that the singer has already started enjoying celebrity status while still at O'level. However, it remains to be seen how she will balance her music career with her studies when she joins A'level.

Bestie Gyal rose to fame after recording her breakthrough hit, “Coo Nyinga,” under the Empire Records label, which is managed by producer Badman Nerio.

According to the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) Executive Director, Mr. Dan Odongo, the Senior Four national examinations will officially begin on Thursday, October 8, with the briefing of candidates.

Mr. Odongo stated that the written UCE examinations will begin on Monday, October 12, with Mathematics Paper 1 in the morning, followed by General Science (Chemistry) Paper 2 and Chemistry Paper 1 (Theory) in the afternoon.

On Tuesday, October 13, candidates will sit for English Language in the morning and History and Political Education in the afternoon. The UCE examinations will conclude on November 3 with foreign language papers.
