The Minister for Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Refugees, Hon. Sam Engola, has hosted Jael Kimberly Acio Aremo, Miss Universe Uganda 2025 1st Runner Up, together with her parents at his home to celebrate her performance at the pageant finals.

In a statement, Engola, who also serves as the Otikokin clan leader where Kimberly comes from, said he was proud to host his "clan daughter" following her spirited display of talent during last Saturday’s Miss Universe Uganda finals.

"As the Otikokin clan leader, I am proud of Kimberly for carrying our flag high. While she may not have walked away with the crown, finishing as the first runner-up is a remarkable achievement," Engola said.

The Minister told Kimberly that her achievement is "a stepping stone, a pathway to future successes and blessings that will prepare her to shine on even bigger global stages."

He also hailed her as a role model for young people. "To our young people, Kimberly has set an inspiring precedent. She has shown what it means to be a productive youth, actively contributing to our nation and creating a positive impact," he added.

Engola further extended gratitude to Kimberly’s parents for their "unwavering support throughout her journey."

"May God bless you all!" he concluded.

Jael Kimberly Acio Aremo represented her community with elegance and confidence at the Miss Universe Uganda finals, where she emerged as the 1st Runner Up.
