Police in Omoro District are hunting armed suspects who raided a mobile money outlet at Koch-Ongako Trading Centre on Wednesday night, shooting dead the agent and injuring two customers.
The attack happened shortly after 8:00 pm at Multi-Com Enterprises in Koch-Ongako Sub-County, just 400 meters from the local police station.
The assailants escaped with an undisclosed sum of money.
The deceased was identified as Raymond Okello, a mobile money agent who died shortly after being shot. The two injured clients were rushed to St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor for treatment.
