State Minister for Youth and Children Affairs Barugahara Balaam Ateenyi has thanked the people of Kitgum District for returning Lillian Aber to Parliament, calling her a “brilliant and hardworking” leader he trusts to deliver.
Aber, who serves as Vice Chairperson of the Patriotic League of Uganda, PLU, for Northern Uganda, is a strong supporter of Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba and President Yoweri Museveni, Barugahara said.
“She will deliver. I trust her. She is an extremely brilliant and hardworking person whom I know well,” he stated.
Aber is scheduled to take the oath of office at Parliament in two days. Barugahara urged the public to pray for her as she begins her new term representing Kitgum.
PLU is a political group associated with Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
