Hon Norbert Mao, Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs and Laroo-Pece Division MP candidate, has stated he'll use the "silver fish technique" to secure victory in the upcoming election.
He made this remark during his campaign launch on Tuesday in Gulu City, accompanied by his wife Beatrice.
Mao jokingly claimed his words are currently controlling the election, highlighting the DP-NRM alliance's strength.
Mao's comments come as he's facing tough competition from other candidates, including incumbent Rev. Fr Onen Charles (Independent), Hon Tony Kitara (NRM), Opoka Simon (UPC), and Lubangakene Caesar, for the Laroo-Pece Member of Parliament seat.
He further noted that when the NRM government took office in 1986, 60% of the ministers were DP members, highlighting their significant role in shaping government programs.
