According to Bosmic Otim, his fellow comrade, Odong Romeo was hired to sidelines him from performing in all the President Museveni's campaign rallies.
"Odong Romeo, they have used you to fight on me during the different rallies for the president. From rally number one to the last rally in Agago. Top politicians in Acholi, others are in opposition and others in government, they used you Odong Romeo for sidelining me." - he narrates the ordeal.
Bosmic Otim testified that when he was from exile in Kenya, President Museveni and Secretary General Toodwong Richard did not mention any anyone's names apart from his, saying that if he is now back in the country then NRM party is also alive.
"Previously when I returned from Kenya, the president didn't mention anyone's name apart from mine, Toodwong Richard didn't mention anyone's name apart mine and it was said that if Otim is now back then NRM is alive and now NRM top executive thinks that if they bring Odong Romeo to fight me Bosmic then the NRM votes will just increase in Acholi. If you fight me there is no votes, someone who spoke so hard to the people of Acholi."
He explained that Odong Romeo has entered a fight that he doesn't know and wasn't prepared for but he has forgiven him.
"Odong Romeo you have entered a fight that you don't know and you were not prepared but because they picked money and paid you that go and do like this and this. Odong Romeo you fought me with all your heart but I have forgiven you. I have forgiven you and if Acholi will also forgive you then is well and good but if they refuse to forgive you then is upon you and why have I said so, it's because the only person who has made all people in Northern Uganda saying that NRM, NRM, NRM is me."- He said
He also revealed that his mother insulted at the time when he joined and started working for the ruling party.
"At time when people used to fear calling the name of NRM boldly, NRM leaders came to me and started working with me that go to this particular places. I struggled with all my efforts and they insulted my mother, rejected me over it."
