Northern Uganda emcees and panelists have voiced their disappointment in Laxzy Mover and the GAMA, saying that they don't like his act as a leader of Northern Uganda musicians.
"We are asking the leader of artists in Northern Uganda, Laxzy Mover that we don't like your act. You know very well that an artist can not step on stage without mc invite."
This comes after the emcees and panelists on Thursday, 15, 2025, held a meeting at the RDC boardroom to discuss the issue of money meant for MCs and panelists, but they were disappointed with the outcome.
NRM has made a budget for Acholi artists to welcome the president but MCs are not happy with Laxzy Mover for including them in the budget.
Singer Laxzy Mover is the coordinator of the program but some entertainers from Acholi sub-region are saying they have been sidelined from the budget.
"Mcs demand their shares from the 100 million shillings. Our problem is that we are being neglected as MCs from Northern Uganda. We are humbly appealing to you to involve us in your budgets." They stated.
They also urged the government to involve MCs during the President’s upcoming visit to Acholi.
They warned that if the government wants to protect its gains, it must work with MCs and panelists otherwise, those gains will not be protected.
