His Royal Highness David Onen Acana II together with his deputy Rwot Otinga Otuka Otto have today flagged off the Acholi secondary school athletes team set to participate in the upcoming Uganda Secondary School Sports Association (USSSA) National Ball Game II Championship in Tororo District.
The colourful ceremony took place at Ker Kwaro Acholi headquarters along the Airfield road. The event that is set to bring together Uganda's top student athletes will kick off tomorrow Friday July 11-19, 2025.
Lawirwodi David Onen Acana II thanked the team leader for this gesture of bringing the students to Ker Kwaro Acholi to receive the blessings.
He emphasized sports is a very good profession that's paying off many people who have taken sports as a career. He told the athletes that with hard work, determination and discipline, they will win this 3rd Edition too.
Lawirwodi David Onen Acana II gave UGX 3M to the Acholi Zone School team as part of the Ker Kwaro's contribution to support the team during the national competition.
Acholi Zone the champions of Uganda Secondary School Sports Association in 2023 and 2024 has its sights firmly set on making history again this year.
