Amid increasing public concern over indecency in music, comedian Bouncer Wod Paibona is concerned with how the society is ignoring the vulgarity in the music industry.
Bouncer has called upon religious leaders, cultural leaders and political leaders to intervene and help in safeguarding the Acholi's moral and cultural values.
According to Bouncer, these vurglar musicians should be summoned and punished for doing vulgar music.
He further explained that as a father he will not take vulgar language for granted because they are misguiding and misleading their children who are consuming them.
He also blamed heads of musicians associations which are within for failing to discipline these musicians, asking them whether the associations were formed in the name of collecting money from Gen Salim Saleh.
Angry comedian continued and said vulgar music should be dusted completely with immediate effect otherwise the music industry is going in the wrong direction.
In 2024, Uganda Communication Commission (UCC) issued strict directives on musicians over vulgar content, urging broadcasters to prioritize content that reflects and upholds societal values.
