Legendary musician cum politician Bosmic Otim has disclosed that he has come out with the BOFA Awards initiative to challenge the fake award organisers in Northern Uganda.
The Roro singer made the remarks during the first launch of the Award at Palms garden in Lira City on Saturday 19, October 2024.
He further stated the award is going to be held in all the sub-regions of Northern Uganda and each shall be presenting 10 legendary singers (5 men and 5 females).
However, Bosmic Otim went on and appointed Prince Compious Adoko as the chairperson of the award.
According to Bosmic, some prominent awards organizers in the region have turned the awards into businesses not awarding the right people who deserve the accolade.
