Kilak South Member of Parliament, and right activists has slammed musician Bosmic Otim over the ill treatment he melted at a fan while in Kitgum on Friday.
In a trending video that has angered most of those that have come across, the music star was spotted seriously assaulting the male fan with no mercy in audience and in the presence of Special Forces Command officers.
Bosmic was seen punching the young man badly and later he ordered his bodyguards to look him up in one of their cars awaiting his performance.
Reacting to the assault on a video, Hon Gilbert Olanya described the as assault awakening people of Acholi from the past war, calling upon Gen. Muhoozi and his father president Yoweri Museveni to come out clean and explain to the people of Acholi why they are deploying the SFC to continue supervising the singer and the goons beating the Acholi people.
Hon Gilbert Olanya reactions and message to Gen Muhoozi and father:
I greet you all my brothers and sisters.
I watched the video of Bosmic Otim beating young Acholi people. Bosmic Otim was being escorted by SFC deployed by the army commander, Gen Muhoozi. Ladies and gentlemen the action of Bosmic Otim is uncalled.
I would like to ask Gen. Muhoozi if you sent Bosmic who is an Acholi man to come purposely to continue beating young Acholi community. I thought now we are at peace no more war. Acholi people are struggling for their survival but now you are trying to remind the Acholi on the time of LRA. If you see how Bosmic beat that boy being supervised by the SFC, the UPDF of Uganda you can conclude that there is something wrong in this country.
I would like to ask you Gen Muhoozi, you have to come out very clean and explain to Acholi why you are deploying the SFC to continue supervising Bosmic and the goons beating the Acholi people. This is very embarrassing situation. I thought NRM has brought peace and we work for peace but now you're working for the disorganisation of the Acholi community.
I would like to assure you that I will take this matter on the floor of parliament. The minster incharge of security must explain why they are deploying the UPDF to continue supervising beating the young youths in Acholi.
After parliament, the president of the republic of Uganda must tell us because it was the president who welcomed and gave the job to Bosmic must be at the know of the deployment him being the commander of chief. So please we are not happy as leaders coming from Acholi sub-region.
So we are going to get all those ones being beaten by Bosmic and supervised by SFC'S we shall bring and front them and this nonsense must stop forcedly failure to do, you will see. Hon Gilbert assured Muhoozi and father.
