Tragedy struck the family of Unity FM 97.7 presenter and Chief Information Officer of Dokolo local government, Musafiri Blick alias Blick Da Bomblast Musafiri after his two children perished in a fatal road accident.
The accident occurred at Abutadi Trading Centre along Lira-Soroti highway.
The accident happened on Saturday 26th May 2024 involving a minibus registration UBL 851Z belonging to Dokolo School of Nursing and Midwifery which was transporting Lango Province football players from Dokolo town to Lira City and the Fuso truck registration UBA 200J, loaded with passengers returning from a traditional marriage ceremony, was traveling towards Dokolo.
The deceased were identified as 5-year-old Anuari Musafiri Suwedi, and Suhaila Musafiri Suwed aged 9.
Mr Musafiri who is one of the Lango Province team diehard fans had traveled with his two kids to watch the friendly football match between Dokolo Select and the Province not knowing he was having the last fun moments together with them on earth and wishing him goodbye.
Musafiri being a Muslim, his two kids were all laid to rest on Sunday, 27th May 2024. May their souls rest in eternal peace.
