Theophilus Tibihika, the Lira City Clerk, died in a motor accident. According to the information obtained by LuoTunes.Com,Tibihika met his death on Monday morning when his Toyota Hilux double cabin pickup number UAM 450V overturned several times along the Lira- Apac road in Akalo in Kole District.
The Lira City Mayor Sam Atul confirmed his death saying they will greatly miss Tibihika because he was a very committed civil servant who was dedicated to his job. Mr. Sam Atul said Theophilus died on the spot.
It's alleged that Tibihika was driving at a terrific speed when his car lost control and overturned several times leading to the fatal accident.
He met his death while he was heading to Kampala for official duties. His body has been taken to Lira City mortuary as Police carry out investigations. Tibihika served in For Portal City as a City Clerk and before he had served as Kasese Municipality Town Clerk.
Tibihika joined Lira City Council as the Town Clerk in June 2022 from Fort Portal City.
