Thousands of mourners from different walks of life on Saturday gathered to bid farewell to fallen musician Bernard Munu Paul popularly known as Beepee at his ancestral home in Eleng, Okwalongwen - Dokolo District.
Beepee passed on at Lira Regional Referral Hospital due to injuries sustained during the road accident on Wednesday 24 January.
Minister of Health Dr Jane Ruth Aceng was the chief mourner who was sent by H.E President Museveni to deliver his condolences message to family and mourners.
Bernard Munu was born on 19th June, 1990 in Lira Municipal Council (currently Lira City) to late Imat Jacinta, Okii and Okabo clan and late mzee Paul Omora.
He attended St. Francis Primary Boarding school, Ireda Primary School from 1997-2003, where he was also the Head prefect of Ireda Primary School.
The late Beepee later joined St. Peter and Paul Seminary, Pokea, Arua City, 2004 and Comboni College School, Lira City from 2005 and 2007 for his O'level. He continued his A'level education from Excel High School and St. John Bosco S.S Dokolo from 2008-2009.
Post secondary, Bernard completed a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science Degree from Kyambogo University and graduated in December 2013.
At the time of his death, BeePee had a 7 month old baby Annabelle Munu with his widow Irene Ejang.
