Jubilations as UNEB finally released results for all the schools in Gulu city after some results were withheld for almost a week after it was released on Thursday last week.
UNEB withheld results for 27 schools over pending invoices for amendment fee and candidates work report fees. Amendment fees are paid fifty thousand shillings for any candidate that had omissions and errors on his particulars such as candidate’s name, index number, age while other schools have not paid for that candidate's work report that it is ten thousand shillings only per school.
However Aber Proscovia the Gulu city inspector of school reeves to the reporter that they have successfully downloaded all the results for all of their 68 examination centres.
At Favour of God primary school out of the 30 candidates 6 passed with first grade while 24 passed with second grades.
Kijanag Denis Oyet ,the deputy head teacher Favour of God primary school says parents are now very happy after they are able to see the result of their children online.
The final PLE result for Gulu city show that out of 4,562 learners who sat in 2023, 890 pupils passed with first grade, 2,391 pupils passed in second grade, 711 got third grades, 333 got fourth grade,176 failed examinations while 61missed examinations.
