The Chief Executive Officer of Laugh With Owakabi Comedy Show, Mc Kash Owakabi has recorded his first groundbreaking achievement after he bagged Best Regional Comedian accolade in the comedy Store Awards 2022.
Mc Kash was declared the Best Regional Comedian of the year in the second edition of comedy Store Awards 2022 after beating Swengere, Sakala Boys and Kachina in the same category.
The excited Mc Kash Owakabi who is now filled with joy took to his Facebook page after receiving his accolade ''Thank You God. Thank you team. Thank you to whoever voted. This goes out to everyone of you.''
The comedian, and event host is the only Northern Uganda comedian who was nominated and managed to scoop an accolade from the awards.
The Comedy Store Awards happened yesterday 21st December 2022 at UMA Multipurpose Hall in Lugogo.
Comedy Store Awards are merit-based and aim at rewarding the most outstanding comedians and funniest personalities in the country.
In simple terms, 2022 has been the best year for the comedian after holding a successful Stand Up Comedy Show in Bomah Hotel Gulu.
Other thing that happened for the comedy host and comedian include performing at Uganda's top rated comedy shows like Comedy Store, Stress Clinic, Comedy Black Friday, Little Brain Show, The Salvado Show, The Laugh Factory, Coffee Brews Talent and many more.
