A 47-year-old man identified as David Ochira has been arrested by police in Nwoya District for allegedly defiling a 5-year-old girl.
David Ochira, a resident of Onyomtil village, Ywaya parish in Anaka Sub County allegedly to have sexually assaulted the 5-year-old girl on Monday.
David Ongom Madong, the Aswa River Region Police Spokesperson confirmed the report and said the matter is under investigation
According to Arach Hellen Ocitti, the local council one chairperson Onyomtil B village, the suspect took advantage of the victim’s mother absence from home to defile her.
Ochira is currently being held at Nwoya Central Police Station where the case is registered vide CRB Number 347/2021.
