Popular Northern Uganda influencer, promoter and artists manager, An Aye King Deno Pius aka Dope Boy is grieving the loss of his beloved mother, Achan Doreen Ogwang who succumbed to cancer on Sunday, April 11th, 2021 at 10 p.m.
King Deno's mother has been battling cancer for over three years in hospital and was later transferred to Mulago Cancer Institute a few months back when her situation completely worsened was transferred back to St Mary's Hospital (Lacor) where she breathed her last after spending only a night.
Manager Dopeboy announced the death of his mother via his Facebook page where a number of his followers and friends got to learn about the sad news in his family
They immediately hit the comment section paying condolence to the manager and comforting him to stay strong through this trying moment of losing someone so close and dear in his life.
According to King Deno, his mother was diagnosed with stage 2 cervical cancer 3 years ago and she has been undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy at the Uganda Cancer Institute.
The deceased was a teacher by profession, she taught at Kitgum Public Primary School from 2003-2005, In 2005-2008, she served as a Headteacher at Grace Christians Academy, Gulu, In 2013-2015, She served as Deputy Headteacher at Akworo Primary School, Kitgum, and from 2016 to date, she was serving as a Headteacher again at Lukwo Primary School in Kitgum District.
