For every musician joining the industry, there is usually one person who serves as inspiration. For gospel singer Tracy Trey Music, that person is celebrated Ugandan artist Juliana Kanyomozi.
In an interview with this tabloid, Lamunu Tracy, commonly known as Tracy Trey Music, revealed that her role model was secular singer Juliana Kanyomozi truly inspired her.
"The way Juliana sings, dances, and performs on stage gave me the courage to grow up and become a musician," Tracy said.
Growing up, Tracy said she was disturbed by reckless lifestyles, including drunkenness. That experience shaped her decision to do music that encourages and heals people's hearts with God's word.
As a child, she dreamed of becoming a doctor or a teacher. However, her love for music eventually won.
Born on October 13, 1993, in Nsyambiya, Tracy is of Acholi heritage and holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Development. She launched her music career in 2019.
Specializing in gospel music, wedding songs, and introduction ceremony songs, Tracy says her artistry is driven by her passion for God and music.
Tracy Trey Music is an emerging gospel artist from Northern Uganda. She is known for praise and worship songs including "Rwot Imara", "Nying Yesu", "Kena Atwero Kuu", "Cwinyi", "Alany Wilobo", and her latest project "Niye".
