Former Adjumani District Chairman Ben Anyama has declared his intention to contest for the Adjumani West County parliamentary seat in the upcoming by-election.
Anyama made the declaration as the Electoral Commission prepares to release the official by-election roadmap. He called for responsible and peaceful campaigns in honor of the late Rtd. Gen. Moses Ali, who previously held the seat.
The Adjumani West MP seat fell vacant following the passing of Gen. Ali. The Electoral Commission is yet to announce dates for nominations and polling.
