Rising female rapper Real Mids, is currently facing serious criticism and humiliation following her remark about legendary rapper MC Wang Jok.
In a recent interview with Calvin the Entertainer on UBC TV, when asked to name the three wackiest MCs, Real Mids boldly answered “MC Wang Jok,” followed by laughter, which made it look like she intended to say it.
“Wackiest” is the superlative form of “wacky,” referring to a fool or the most eccentric person.
Several rappers and fans have condemned her statement about the legend, asking her to apologize to the ''Gina Gulu'' hitmaker.
However, many people are not blaming her harshly, stating that she misunderstood the English, which forced her to answer the question without knowing what she was responding to.
MC Wang Jok, however, came out and forgave the young rapper for her remarks, saying Real Mids’ apology was accepted. “I think she wasn’t prepared for the question or was nervous. That’s why she may have said things in an inappropriate way.
“I think she didn’t mean to say it, because she could not have called me if she was proud of what she said. She meant no harm. Right now, she is our sister. We can always help her grow because we understand the game more than anyone else. As we’re getting older, we can’t be there all the time — it’s their time to shine.” - Mc Mang Jok stated.
Wang Jok added that after realizing her mistake, Real Mids phoned him to ask for forgiveness, meaning she didn’t intend to insult him but misunderstood the English.
