The Aswa West Police have arrested 41 individuals, including the gang leader Aleng Fatuma who allegedly participated in assaulting and looting people's within Gulu City on 6/12/2025 during Bobi Wine's campaign in Gulu City.
The arrests were made last night, following an intelligence-led operation that utilized CCTV footage and its suburbs leading to their arrests, they are currently being detained at Gulu CPS.
Aleng Fatuma allegedly led the mobilization of the suspected criminal gangs using various media platforms like TikTok among others.
Accoring to ASP David Ongom Mudong, the Aswa West Police Spokesperson, they are still on the look out for other suspects who are still at large.
