Takataka Plastics has announced its partnership with the Gulu City Falcons Rugby Football Club with over Ugx 34 million sponsorship for the club.
Gulu City Falcons RFC is a growing Ugandan rugby club located in Gulu City, Northern Uganda. The club has participated in numerous Uganda Rugby Union events such as National Rugby 7s Series, Uganda Cup, National 7s Core Status, among others.
The announcement was made by Takataka Plastics Co-founder, Peter Okwoko after putting pen to papers with the club administrators.
According to Peter Okwoko's statement, the sponsorship aims to support the team while advancing their mission to spread the message of environmental sustainability to a wider audience.

Takataka Plastics is a Ugandan social enterprise launch in 2020 to locally recycle plastic waste to build a circular economy, create jobs, improving the environment and public health.
