Promoter Gavin has been accused of stealing Shs8 million from the money meant to facilitate arrests during the NRM party campaigns.
Gavin was arrested on Tuesday and detained at Gulu CPS upon learning that he had stolen a whopping Ugx8 million meant to facilitate the artists participation.
Opiyo Francis Gavin La of Gavin Promotions was later released on Wednesday after refunding UGX6 million out of the stolen cash.
It's alleged that he shared another Ugx2 million with Oryema Robinson Ogeri.
