NRM supporters on 23rd September made their way to Kololo independence ground to welcome president Yoweri Museveni who was nominated to maintain his seat as the current president of Uganda.
Among the events lineup was a display of musical performances from various artists from various artists around Uganda.
However, a section of artist from the Northern part of Uganda were not happy because they were not allowed to perform early enough, ending up performing late when most officials had already left.
"A national event or national function is for everybody not for a specific people or specific sub-region or region. A national event is for everybody to participate. People from all sub-region and region of this country Uganda must participate equally that is when it is national event. So Bebe Cool misbehaved on us artists from Northern Uganda in Kololo and we are not going to forgive him because this is not the first time that some of them try to fool us around. Changing a national event to become something of their own alone. This is criminal and Bebe Cool must be punished for his act. " - Bosmic Otim expressed his anger.
Bosmic Otim termed the act as being criminal and humiliation to the Northern Uganda artists.
He however accused Bebe Cool of promoting tribalism during the president Museveni nomination rally.
Among the artists present included Jenneth Prischa, Okeng Born Town, JM Kennedy, Odong Romeo and Bosmic Otim among others.
Meanwhile Bosmic Otim the Presidential advisor was among those who didn't perform, including Blood Moon and Deno Traditional Dance Group.
He maintained that Bebe Cool and his team must not go unpunished and should not cross Northern Uganda in the name of campaigning for the president.
