A 17 year old girl allegedly committed suicide after an argument with her parents for refusing to approve her relationship with her boyfriend in Agago District.
The deceased who has been identified as Lilian Akullu, 17, was found dead, her body hanging from the roof of one of her relatives houses.
According to reports, the aunt of the deceased had cautioned her against being in a relationship with one of the boys in the area, an incident that led to a misunderstanding between them.
It is alleged that after her aunt barred her from seeing the boy whose name is yet to be revealed, she took a rope after which she took her life, an incident that caught the attention of section of Ugandans who took to their different social media platforms to send their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
