Mugude Charles Maxwell Kuwembule, the Kamuli District LC5 Chairman and NRM candidate seeking re-election has perished in a fatal road crash.
Patrick Onyango, Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, the tragic incident occurred Thursday morning in Nakifuma.
Patrick Onyango said the accident at 4:40am on Thursday.
The deceased was driving a white Toyota Hilux Double Cabin registration number UG 669M from Kampala to Kamuli when his vehicle collided with a stationary truck registration number UBR 835K.
Kuwembule died instantly at the scene, with his body trapped inside the wreckage.
