I did bachelor of art in music - High Prist reveals

Musician High Prist has revealed that he studied bachelor of art in music from Makerere University.

Speaking during Mixola's Pim Target Black and White Funs Experience press conference, High Prist said he studied the course in order to change people's mentality on musicians.

According to him, the reason why he went for a bachelor of art in music is that he wants to see people's mentality on the musicians in the community changed.

''I did a bachelor of art in music. I went to study music for only one reason, I want to change people's mentality on how they reason on musicians.'' - he stated.

He further explained that it will help bridge the gap between the community and musicians to start getting businesses.

"When you see people's mentality in the community have changed with times on musicians, then more businesses will start reaching musicians and promoters will also start paying them very well to lift the standards of their life.''

Born Rwotomioy Reagan (10/08/1993) popularly known for his stage name as High Prist is a Ugandan singer-songwriter and a performer under Jungle Empire music label.

High Prist began his career as a musician at the age of  sixteen (16) recording a rap song from Roy Studios.

He became popular after recording a collabo with Pato Loverboy and managed to perform on a couple of stages including the Pine Avenue 5 stage where he was amongst the upcoming artists and rated to be amongst the best performers.
