Omoro District has finally got the long awaited FM radio station.
97.3 Omoro FM being the first state of art radio in Omoro County was launched on Tuesday 27th, August 2024 by the Hon Speaker, Anita Anent Among.
Omoro FM was a project that was initiated by late Jacob Oulanyah who believed in the transformative power of strategic communication.
Jacob Oulanyah, the speaker of parliament of Uganda who died of cancer in Seattle, US on 20 March 2022 left behind the radio work uncomplete and was under the supervision of his son Andrew Oulanyah.
