Renowned musician Okello Julius alias Man CJ on Tuesday morning had to face the door to heaven when a bus he was traveling in got involved in a terrible road accident that almost took his life.
The accident happened earlier this morning at around 5:AM (Tuesday) where a Makome bus Reg No UAR 339M lost control and flipped several times at Kichwabugingo along Kampala-Gulu highway in Kiryandongo district
The Apiyo hitmaker was among the passengers traveling from Kampala to Gulu with the midnight bus. He is currently admitted at Victory Hospital Gulu City where he is undergoing treatments.
Mr Julius Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson has confirmed the accident being a single serious accident that involved a bus belonging to Makome bus company.
He stated that 16 passengers were injured and they are being treated at Kiryandongo hospital and the driver is still at large
"It's alleged that the bus belonging to Makome Bus Company coming from Kampala heading to Gulu lost control and overturned injuring some passengers who were on board. So the driver is at large and we are looking for him to tell us what happened exactly so we shall give you a detailed report as soon as we arrest the driver." He said.
