Bobi Wine, Eddy Kenzo joins other musicians to mourn fallen singer Beepee

Uganda's musician turned politician Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine and Uganda National Musicians Federation president, Eddy Kenzo have joined the rest of Ugandans and Northerners at large to mourn the fallen singer BeePee Ug.

Bobi Wine offered a heartfelt tribute to the late musician Beepee who passed away on Wednesday morning in a Facebook post. "I have learnt of the sad news of Munu Benard "Beepee," a renowned artist in Lango sub region who passed on last night at Lira Regional Referral Hospital. He succumbed to injuries he sustained in an accident near Front Page Lounge in Lira City. Sending my deepest condolences to his family and fans. May his soul rest in peace."

On the other hand, Eddy Kenzo appealed to everybody to be very careful while using the road because road accident is sweeping our people day and night.

"24th January 2024. Hope it's a beautiful morning to you all.
This morning, I want to address the unfortunate incidents in our amidst. Last week, we woke up with the news of the death of our brother Pius Kibuule aka Pius Kibs in a road accident.
This morning again, news coming to our desk of the death of another brother from Lango Musicians Association Par Pira Beepee in another motor accident in Lira.

These incidents are very unfortunate to our industry, and we pray the Lord rests our brothers in peace and comforts their families in this trying moment.

I also appeal to all my colleagues in the sectors to try to be careful with the road and try to be careful as we pray to the Lord to guide and keep us alive. This is the time the industry needs us all to build a fresh. Let's all be our brothers' keepers as we sail through the storm."

Beepee, was pronounced dead on Wednesday, 24, 2024 after he succumbed to injuries he sustained in a road accident within Lira City on Tuesday evening.
