Gulu Regional Referral Hospital Runs Out Of Covid-19 Drugs To Treat Patients

Panic has hit Gulu Regional Referral Hospital as the district ran out of essential drugs to treat Covid-19 patients as cases spike in the country.

The hospital is currently having a total of 13 Covid-19 patients battling for their lives and in critical condition.

It is reported that some patients are now buying their essential drugs from outside clinics or pharmacies for their treatments.

Currently, there are 808 Covid-19 active cases in Acholi sub region, out of which 766 are in home based care while 42 are in critical condition at St Mary’s hospital Lacor and Gulu Regional Referral Hospital treatment Unit respectively.
