After Uganda's singer cum politician Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has transformed a number of musicians from music to the politic, comic singer Okeng Born Town has confirmed that he will be running for Otuke District Mayorship in the 2021 general election.
Speaking to this website, Okeng stated that he wasn't just a musician but he is also a politician. He says that he has already begun his consultation with the people of Otuke.
He, however, said he will run for Otuke District mayorship seat in 2021 because his fans want him to. Okeng Born Town is originally from Otuke District and he is seeking an elective seat in his home town.
It should be noted that he is also expecting a baby with his wife Moreen Born Town.
