Ingeyo Jimmy, popularly known as Jimmy Jay Official, was born on 1 June 1999 at Anaka Hospital in Anaka Town, Nwoya District. He is the son of Akello Grace and Okeny Richard.

Jimmy attended Anaka Primary School where he sat his P.7, then proceeded to Anaka Pope Paul Secondary School in Anaka.
 
He started music professionally in 2020. Jimmy Jay Official is a Lakubukubu artist who blends traditional Acholi sounds with modern beats. His music focuses on life in Northern Uganda, love, hustle, and giving hope to the youth.
