Onencan Charles who performs as Jeffy Praise was a secular artist before converting to gospel in 2024. 

Jeffy Praise was born on 9/12/1996 from Agago District and started gravitating towards his music career in 2017. 

He went to Patongo Akwee P/S, Dr Ambrosali P/S Kalongo for his elementary schooling, St Charles Lwanga College Kalongo, Patongo Town College, Adilang secondary school for his O'level studies 

According to Jeffy, God changed him to transform this generation with his power of truth and to serve him with what he gave him so that his will must be fulfilled and to take back his Glory through true worship.
