Akot Everlyne, (born 15, June 1996) better known by stage name Lighting is a Ugandan gospel singer, songwriter and worship leader.

Lighting joined the music industry in 2024. She released her first single Rwot Wa. She is the third born in a family of six.

Akot Everlyne who performs as Lightning was born on 15, June 1996 from Kampala Nsambya Hospital. She is a daughter to Mr Labeja Raymond and Ms Auma Nighty.
