JJ Steve real name is Komakech Steven, a West Nile artist under Kins Management Ug he hails from West Nile found on western part of Uganda.

He was born in 1990 from Gulu ,He comes from a poor family of 8 members. He is second last born in their family.

He started his Music Career in 2018 were he recorded his first song  from Smile times recorded and encouraged him to continue Making more songs.
