Nesta Ug, born Lakaraber Nesta Promise is a Ugandan songwriter, singer and deejay who has made a name for Northern Uganda's entertainment scene.

The female recording artiste who is of Northern Uganda descent was born in November 4th in Gulu District then.

She was raised in Buziga, a Kampala suburb. She attended schools like; Kigumba Intensive Primary School {K.I.P.S} & God Mark High School, Markos College in Entebbe.
