Born and raised in Gulu city northern Uganda. Kale- man was christened Charles Ochan and joined four other siblings in Kanyagoga A one of the suburbs of Gulu city.

Kale-Man loves dancehall styles music because he feel that is the best way he can express himself and it’s the best medium to communicate content and messages. It’s because he has something to say and that is the best medium for it. It’s music for his people the Luo ( Acholi).

Kale-Man do music as a part timer in his own home studio and so far recorded six songs and released one ( Mar rengejja).

Kale-Man is a music composer, singer and songwriter though he never attended music school he uses the learned music lessons he attended while he was in O level to achieve his music mission.
