Singer/songwriter Steve Jay Omar aka odoch Stephen Omara was born in December 27 1992 in Nwoya district 'The land of Anaka,

Education Background:
Steve Jay Omar started schooling from  kisugu nursery school in Kampala, joined Karuma primary school, Gulu prison and finished his primary leaving examination from Pece primary school.

Joined pope John Paul ii college, wobulenzi Academy, and finished his O level from APAS high school Kampala.

Steve Jay Omar joined Ebenezer Secondary school where he finished his A level.
And later 2014 he joined Gulu University for a bachelor degree in business administration. 

Music journey;
Steve Jay Omar started singing at a tender age way back in primary as a school choir member in 2005. In 2011 he became a backup singer and worked with few artists in the region.

In  2013 he joined recording music his first single kadanke produced by Osai and later he joined BigDrum Entertainment where he brought in songs like Adaama, Amito ngeni, Don't go , Karaama .

In 2016 he team up with kiden and Judas and they worked on a song entitled Kwo wiloboni, he later team up with Baptizzo and started singing as duo came up with songs like Alokaloka, ocwii remu, tibu Koma, and Can wiye Rac.

In 2019 Steve Jay Omar did his single entitled Oteka lweny as his first gospel song featuring Rachel Piker, In 2021 Steve Jay Omar released Anyadwe song and its his latest song.
