Nyero Francis, who goes by the stage name Mr. Lafta, is a Northern Uganda Gospel Artist.
Mr. Lafta started gravitating towards music in primary school. In 2010 he first learned to play the guitar, write music, and began leading worship at Antioch Church, Gulu. His music career developed underground while he focused on writing his own songs and leading worship.
He attended schools like Gulu Town School for primary education, went to Gulu Central High School for secondary studies and later joined Gulu University.
In 2020, Mr. Lafta recorded his first song titled Lord Jesus which was produced from Antioch studios.
In early 2021, he recorded two new songs, Mara Ni Yesu and Kwo Wiloboni.
His main goals are to sing songs that draw people nearer to God and give a platform for younger generations to learn how to worship the true God with all their mind, body, and soul.
