Vision Group Uganda in conjunction with StarTimes Uganda has on Monday 31st launched Luo Television dubbed as Wan Luo Television Station.
While speaking at a zoom conference, Vision Group Executive Director, Robert Kabushenga said that the television that aims at promoting unity, solidary, and togetherness through culture and language will start operating on September 1st, 2020.
The launched happened at the Vision Group's headquarters on second and third streets, Industrial area in Kampala.
He, however, stated that communities in Gulu, Kitgum, Lira, Tororo, Apac, and Pakwach where the Luo language is predominantly spoken will enjoy a mix of local content in the form of news, music, movies, sports, and more.
