Uganda's rapper Fik Fameica and producer, Artin Pro have been dragged to court by a female lawyer over his single My Property which has been enjoying airplay.
Both Fik Fameica and Artin Pro are being charged for failing to protect Ugandan from harmful content.
My Property hit is said to allegedly undermine and violate the right of women and girls of Uganda.
This comes earlier last month after the government announced a set of regulations under the law for the arts industry and since then, a section of players in the same industry came out to criticize the regulations, on grounds that there is lots of unfairness in them thus leading to their suspension by the Minister of ICT.
It should be noted that ever since Fik Fameica rose to fame, he has faced a lot of challenges in the music industry. Last year he was dragged to the same court over copyright infringement by Tanzania rapper Chin Bees and on top of that had a flopped concert.
