Hon. Aber Lillian has shared a heartfelt message of gratitude after being retained as Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister for Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Refugees in Uganda’s new cabinet for 2026–2031.
In her statement, Aber expressed deep appreciation to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for reappointing her.
“I am deeply honored and profoundly grateful to H.E. President Kaguta Museveni for reappointing me as Minister of State, Office of the Prime Minister [Relief, Disaster Preparedness and Refugees],” she said.
She said the renewed trust had renewed her sense of purpose. “This trust you have placed in me once again humbles me greatly and fills my heart with renewed purpose and determination. I pledge to serve our beloved nation with utmost dedication, compassion, and relentless commitment by putting our people first, especially in their most vulnerable moments.”
Aber also thanked Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Chairman of the Patriotic League of Uganda, for his support.
“I extend my sincere gratitude to our Chairman, Gen. Muhoozi, for your steadfast support, wise counsel, and continued guidance,” she added.
