Police in Gulu West Policing Division are hunting two unknown armed assailants over an aggravated robbery reported on Friday, 2 May 2026, at about 9:30 p.m. on For God Cemetery Road in Bardege-Layibi Division.
According to preliminary information recorded by police, the victim, Onen Morris Onna, was heading home via Cemetery Road when two unknown men attacked him.
One was allegedly armed with a gun. The attackers hit Onna with an object and robbed him of his motorcycle, registration number UFM 917C, a UG Boss valued at Shs 5,600,000.
Police have registered a case of aggravated robbery. Statements are yet to be obtained as inquiries continue.
“We urge anyone with information linking the culprits to this incident to pass it confidentially to police or other relevant authorities for possible apprehension and prosecution of the suspects,” said ASP Ongom David Mudong, Police PRO for Aswa West.
