Six people reportedly died in the early hours of Tuesday after a Mega Executive Bus collided head-on with a Sinotruck at California Village along the Gulu-Kampala highway.
The bus, traveling from Gulu to Kampala, departed Gulu City at midnight with 53 passengers.
The driver, Kilama, and conductor were among those who lost their lives on the spot.
The bodies of the deceased and injured passengers were taken to Kiryandongo Hospital for treatment. Police haven't issued an official statement on the cause yet. This is a developing story.
