Celebrated Ugandan artist, Odong Romeo has returned to the country from the United Kingdom (UK) ahead of his mother's funeral which is slated for Saturday July, 12, 2025 in Koch Goma, Nwoya District.
Mego Molly Okello died on Sunday 22/06/2025 at approximately 9pm EAT from St Mary's hospital Lacor after battling with kidney cancer for a while. Romeo's mother was serving as the Secretary Finance NRM Youth League Nwoya District at the time of her demise.
Tomorrow Friday 11th, Molly's body leaves 4th Division Barracks Mortuary for funeral service at Watoto Church Gulu at 10.am. Thereafter the body will leave for Koch Goma where she will be laid to rest on Saturday. May her soul rest in peace.
