The Resident District Commissioner (RDC) in charge of Lamwo District, Oceng Geoffrey Osborn has been transferred to Nwoya District.
In exercise of the powers conferred upon the President of the Republic of Uganda by Articles 99 and 203 of the 1995 Constitution (as amended); I hereby appoint the following persons as Resident District/City Commissioners, Deputies, and Commissioners at the RDC Secretariat," the president stated in a message shared on X on Monday afternoon.
Osborn was moved in a reshuffles of Resident City Commissioners, Resident District Commissioners, and Deputy Resident District Commissioners announced on Monday afternoon by President Museveni.
Osborn previously severed as RDC, Lamwo District.
In a heartfelt post on his Facebook account, Osborn expressed his gratitude to the President of the Republic of Uganda for trusting in him.
"On my appointment as the Resident District Commissioner for Nwoya. I want to thank the president of the republic of Uganda ??, Commander in chief of the Arm forces and the fountain of honour for yet another trust in me,'' "Friends and the 4th estate thanks you for always being my guiding lights." ''I promise to always be the servant of you all irrespective of your school of thoughts.''
