Lango leaders earlier this week surprised the Kilak South MP Hon. Gilbert Olanya for his endless support towards the two provinces (Acholi and Lango) during their Fufa drum games.
Hon. Gilbert Olanya who has never missed any of the Acholi and Lango province games when hosting or playing away was rewarded with a trophy and two goats as the best fan.
However, he was applauded for uniting Acholi and Lango people through the fufa drum games.
According to a close source, Olanya will be receiving his rewards on the day when Lango will be playing West Nile Province at their home in Lira at Akii Bua stadium.
Hon. Gilbert Olanya is also one of the legislators from the Parliament of Uganda who are fighting so hard to see that AFCON is hosted at Akii Bua stadium after the government exclusion of the construction of the stadium among the stadia to host AFCON in 2027 over bad roads and no airports required to host such a tournament.
