Kitgum man identified as Ochira Suliman is currently on the run after allegedly beating to death Ocakacon Ben, a 54 year old man friend to his mother of Jenca village after he caught him red-handed having twa twa with his mother Aloch Filder in their garden near their home.
The Territorial Police in Aswa East region and Kitgum District, have launched a serious manhunt for the suspect over the alleged murder of a man he found having an affair with his mother in a potato garden.
The incident according to Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga happened on the 31st October 2023 at around 9pm at Jenga Village in Kitgum District.
Mr Enanga cautioned against acts of elderly abuse by children and said that once apprehended, the son will be charged in court with acts of murder by assault.
“We strongly condemn such acts of elderly abuse by children. The son whose actions were premeditated, kept spying on his mother, and attacked his lover, with a huge stick. He was rife with rage and anger,” Mr Enanga stated, adding that “efforts are now in place to trace the whereabouts of the suspect and bring him to book.” - Fred Enanga stated.
